Student Story
Margaret Farrell
After several years working in construction and raising a family, I wanted a career change. Working in fashion had been a life-long ambition for me, and after some research I chose the Fashion Styling course in Crumlin. I joined the course as a mature student after reading about it online. It was a well-rounded curriculum and I particularly enjoyed fashion styling, the make-up classes and the fashion industry and design modules. It also gave me more confidence working with computers and learning how to blog was a personal highlight. My teachers were so helpful and offered great support during and after my study. As a mature student, I found student life really enjoyable and everyone in the group was friendly and inclusive. Since graduating I have worked with the HSE in an advisory capacity with the Women’s Health Project and in the wardrobe department of Ardmore Studios. I would highly recommend this course.
